A confused or distracted driver is a recipe for disaster. Provide drivers with a runway-style approach light that is visible further in advance and distinguishable from other vehicle light bars. There is a reason why a sequential landing zone beacon system (“rabbit”) is used at the threshold of a runway.

The set includes: carry/charging case, DC 12/24V vehicle plug, AC 110/240V wall plug
Gravity-controlled light output: tilt sensor automatically directs light output to optimize driver awareness
RDS™ (Rapid Deployment System): automatically turns on the flare when removed from the case (winter gloves? No problem.)
The “Pair” system allows one or more sets to be synchronized
Preference settings for pattern, sequence of use, and gravity activation are saved in memory for future use
6-hour charge time from a fully depleted battery
Check battery status with the push of a button
Automatic synchronization of flares
No programming, no pre-numbering, turn on and use
20+ hours of runtime (depending on flash pattern)
Choice of 4 flash patterns (2 sequential, 1 simultaneous, 1 steady-on)
Reverse sequence mode: reverse the direction of the sequence with the push of a button (can be deployed in reverse order)
Charge all flares at once (using the dual-use carry case)
Operates on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (1500 full discharge cycles)

This pi-lit® ‘smart flare’ uses an advanced radio-linked network for automated flash sequences. Approaching drivers see a series of flares that light up sequentially, similar to a runway, effectively guiding traffic around incidents or work zones. These flares are easy to place and provide enhanced traffic guidance and safety for both motorists and road workers. Notably, pi-lit Sequential Safety Flares have received an exemption from the Federal Motor Carrier Administration (FMCSA), allowing them to be used as a warning device in place of traditional warning triangles or fusee flares.
