This tool has become an integral part of the equipment for firefighters wearing self-contained breathing apparatus, as well as for many other emergency service personnel.

Whether it’s searching rooms, opening doors during a fire, or carrying a victim out of a danger zone – the tape sling is a valuable companion!

The RESCUE LOOP Tape Sling is suitable and approved for attachment to a safety chain during rescue operations in accordance with European standards:

- EN 354: PPE - lanyard

- EN 566: mountaineering equipment - slings

- EN 795: PPE – anchor device type B

It offers sufficient redundancy thanks to its breaking strength of 22 kN.

The RESCUE-LOOP has a wide range of applications:

carrying aid to rescue the injured
emergency harness to rescue an injured person
searching rooms:
the rescue sling is attached to a firefighter's belt with an HMS carabiner, the other end is held by the team leader. This way, less time is needed to search a room or area while the team remains securely connected by the rescue sling.
Procedure for opening doors during a fire:
first, the sling is attached to the door handle; then, after searching a room, in the event of an imminent flashover, the door can be closed quickly and safely.
The same technique should be applied when cooling smoke gases with nozzles!
