Additional Information

Thanks to the extra volume in the mouth and nose area, this flame-resistant hood provides optimal space for the use of a particle filter mask, FFP2 or FFP3 mask. Its ergonomic design and the use of an elastic band in the face opening ensure maximum protection without restricting the field of vision. This flame-resistant hood is single-layered and therefore lighter and more breathable, allowing the wearer to continue performing well even during exertion or heat stress. Thanks to the special material composition, the hood is very skin-friendly and, in addition to flame-retardant properties, antistatic properties, and sweat management, also offers good elasticity and thus ideal wearing comfort. Flat seams are used in the head and shoulder area to improve the fit. This hood is available in the international forest fire protection color "yellow." This high-visibility color makes dirt particles clearly visible. The material of the fire-resistant hood is certified according to EN ISO 11612:2015 Code A1, B1, C1 and EN 1149-5:2018.

FLAME-RESISTANT

comazo|protect relies on aramid for fire protection. The special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as 'Kermel', are the optimal solution for workwear that guides you through fire. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis, and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions. This effectively prevents the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore excluded. The material only chars at temperatures above 400 °C.

ANTISTATIC

This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for work and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents static charging of objects, which is especially important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. Furthermore, it offers protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
