Additional Information

The PAX Forest Fire Basic System is the ergonomic and modular carrying system that serves as the absolute foundation for PAX Bags' vegetation and forest firefighting equipment. The system is specifically designed to minimize the physical strain on firefighters during long and intensive operations in rough terrain.

Key Features & Ergonomics

Optimal Weight Distribution: Consists of thickly padded shoulder straps, a back connection, and a sturdy hip belt to efficiently transfer weight to the hips.
Quickly Adjustable: The back panel can be precisely adjusted to the wearer's height in an instant for a perfect fit.
Durable & Cleanable: Made of robust, heat-resistant materials that are easy to clean after deployment.

Modular Expansion Options

The unique feature of the basic system is that it can be transformed as desired with specific PAX add-on modules and holsters, such as:

PAX Water Bladder A flexible 20-liter water bladder, equipped with an efficient double-action fire lance for mobile firefighting.
PAX Forest Fire Hip Bag: Supports the bottom of the water bladder for even better ergonomics and prevents kinking in the supply hose.
PAX Modules M & L: Backpack modules that offer additional storage space for hoses, tools, or personal equipment.
Tool & Breathing Apparatus Holsters: Quickly attachable holsters (e.g., for escape masks) that are easy to operate even with thick firefighting gloves.
