The Petzl Absorbica-I 80 lanyard is designed for progression along a horizontal lifeline or an elevated platform, without passing intermediate anchors. There are several options for connection to your harness. Can be used with different types of connectors. Absorbs the impact of a fall.

Connection options

Temporary connection to the harness: using a carabiner held in the correct position by the String positioning accessory (included with the lanyard)
Semi-permanent connection to the harness: using a Ring Open. The circular shape allows for optimal positioning
The end of the lanyard is suitable for a locking carabiner or an MGO Open hook with a large gate opening
