The Petzl Asap'Sorber Axess can be used in a two-person rescue situation with a maximum load of 250 kg. Please note: this application is only permitted for trained experts. When used by a single person, this energy absorber is suitable for a user weight of 50-130 kg.

Progressive tearing
In the event of a fall, the tearing of the energy absorber limits the impact force on the user. The absorber is designed for users weighing between 50 and 130 kg. The so-called progressive tearing of the webbing ensures ideal absorption of the forces generated during a fall.
