Description
The Am’D asymmetrical aluminum carabiner has a D-shape that is particularly well
suited for connecting various devices, such as a descender or a positioning lanyard.
The secure Triact-Lock locking system locks automatically and will not open accidentally.
Certification
CE EN 362, EAC, NFPA 2500 Technical Use, UKCA
Features
- The Petzl Am’D is a lightweight, asymmetrical carabiner
- Its shape makes the Am’D suitable for equipment such as descenders and the end of lanyards
- The automatic Triact-Lock locking system is secure and will not open accidentally
- The Keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging unintentionally
- The H-profile ensures an optimal strength-to-weight ratio and protects markings from abrasion
- Compatible with a Captiv positioning bar. This ensures the carabiner is loaded along its major axis, is better integrated with the device, and prevents it from rotating
