Application

The Petzl Grillon MGO for work positioning is used in single mode. Attach the Grillon MGO to the ventral (belly) attachment point of your harness. Ensure that the anchor point is above you. Hold the free end of the rope with one hand. Use your other hand to adjust the length of the lanyard. To do this, press the cam.

Functional design

Fine-adjustable positioning lanyard for work positioning. Adjust the length of the lanyard precisely using the cam
With large MGO hook for connection to large (metal) structures and cables
The different lanyard lengths have their own color coding
Attach the lanyard to the ventral (belly) attachment point and connect the MGO hook to an anchor
With protected stitched ends. These keep the connector in position and protect the rope
The removable protective sleeve protects the rope against abrasion and ensures smooth rope glide
The ropes are also available separately

Additional functionality

It is possible to descend a short distance using the cam. However, this requires practice, and you should certainly not use the Grillon as a descender. First, attach something to the anchor point to ascend again.

Grillon lanyards

The standard Grillon lanyard and the Grillon Plus function in the same way. The Grillon Plus features an abrasion-resistant aramid rope and is therefore suitable for use in harsh environments
The Grillon hook is equipped with a special hook connector and a protective sleeve
The Grillon MGO is equipped with an MGO hook and a protective sleeve
Long Grillon horizontal lifelines are also available
