This shirt is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5, and its flame-retardant properties are achieved through the use of aramid and Lenzing® FR.

FLAME RETARDANT

comazo|protect relies on aramid fibers for fire-retardant properties. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers, resulting in extremely high strength. Aramid fibers, such as "Kermel", are the ideal solution for protective workwear that is resistant to fire. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, bases, and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its varying longitudinal and transverse orientations, which effectively prevents heat transfer. This flame-retardant material has no melting point, eliminating the risk of burns from melting material. The material only chars at temperatures above 400 °C.

ANTI-STATIC

This product is anti-static and is part of our specialized range of workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the build-up of static charge on objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.
