The Petzl ASAP is a mobile fall arrester for a safety rope. Suitable for use on inclined and vertical lines. Connect the Petzl ASAP to the sternal (chest) or dorsal (back) attachment point of your harness. As you move, the device rolls along with you automatically. In the event of a jolt, fall, or uncontrolled descent, the ASAP locks. It also locks if you grab the device in a panic.

Functionality

The ASAP moves along the rope with you automatically. You do not need to operate the device, which is convenient when focusing on your work.
Install or remove the ASAP quickly and easily at any point on the rope by sliding the locking wheel to the side.
Attach an ASAP'Sorber or ASAP'Sorber Axess energy absorber to the device when you need to work at a distance from the line.
