Description
The AEROresc® EASY Splint M (article number: HIMT02-SP-M-SET) is a foldable, moldable universal splint from the manufacturer HUM. This splint is specifically designed for the rapid immobilization of limbs in medical emergencies.
Key features:
- Dimensions & Weight: The splint has dimensions of 50 x 11 cm and weighs only approximately 80 grams. This specific 'SET' variant is supplied as a folded unit.
- Material: The core consists of a flexible, soft aluminum alloy. This is covered with a comfortable, softly padded layer of IXPE polyethylene foam.
- Hygiene & Comfort: The striking yellow exterior is fluid-repellent (against blood, sweat, and secretions). The blue patient-facing side has a textured surface for better grip and optimal air circulation.
- Radiolucent: The splint is radiolucent, meaning it can remain in place during X-ray examinations in the hospital.
- Adaptable & Reusable: You can easily bend the splint into the desired shape, cut it to size as needed with bandage scissors, and reuse it multiple times after cleaning.
