The AEROresc® – EASY Splint (HIMT12-SP-XS) is a compact, moldable universal splint from HUM that is specifically designed as a finger splint for medical assistance and first aid.
Key features
- Dimensions & Weight: The size XS measures exactly 5 x 11 cm and weighs only approximately 4 to 5 grams.
- Material: The splint has a moldable aluminum core surrounded by comfortable and liquid-repellent IXPE polyethylene foam. The surface on the patient side is blue and textured for extra grip and better air circulation, while the outside is yellow.
- Functionality: It is completely radiolucent and MRI-safe, meaning it can remain in place during medical scans.
- Reusability: The material is waterproof, latex-free and resistant to extreme temperatures, making it easy to clean and disinfect for multiple uses.
- Adaptability: The splint can very easily be cut to size with scissors or folded into specific angles for optimal immobilization.
